Cheers for Helping Raising Funds for No More Tears & Human Trafficking Victims!

From idea to action, it was such a pleasure to host our 1st Night to Fight Human Trafficking event to benefit No More Tears! It's founder Somy Ali has done so much, and from the bottom of our hearts a BIG THANK YOU to everyone involved, played, created, attended, donated, or cheered us on leading up to the event!

Through ticket sales, raffle, and their shirt sales we were able to raise $800 BEFORE the art auction! BIG <3 to all the businesses that donated to our raffle: Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery, Southport Raw Bar, The Honey Pot Smoke Shop, Monte Carlo Travel & Tourism, Concrete Beach Brewery, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza and those who bought a ticket but couldn't attend... you all are the REAL MVP's!

The event was held Sat April 21st at America's Backyard in Ft Lauderdale bringing together the local South Florida community providing a platform where both artists and musicians could showcase their talents while directly helping the community.

Thank you to the incredible musicians whom performed Marcus Amaya, Cassidy Shooster, Bianca Jade, Johan Danno, and the amazing art by Amber Pagano & Ejaz. FACEBOOK EVENT & VIDEO

THE STORY & EVENT

Florida is home to sandy beaches, tourists, flamingos, and now a growing human trafficking market. Recently ranked #3 in the nation, the multi-million dollar business targets woman, children and men, with half of those taken in Florida being under age 18.

A key organization in the fight against human trafficking is No More Tears, a South Florida based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has provided support to over 20,000 victims. To help raise funds for No More Tears, a collective of South Florida artists are hosting a benefit concert featuring live music and art at Americas Backyard on Saturday April 21st in Ft. Lauderdale.

The event organizers Marcus Amaya and Johan Danno will be performing at the event along with special guests Cassidy Shooster, Bianca Jade and Somy Ali from No More Tears speaking at the event. Danno, who has spent the last year performing in major cities across the USA and Australia after being named '1 of the top 5 songwriters of Australia' will be performing in his 4-piece band along with Amaya, whom will be debuting his single "Stranger Eyes" which portrays stories from the eyes of the victims of human trafficking.

Included with the live music will be live art from local artist Amber Pagano and Ejaz Hassanali, who's final pieces will be sold in a silent auction to benefit No More Tears along with all proceeds from the raffle and portion of the door. More details on Eventbrite and Facebook event below.
