The LOVE IS MY MEDICINE festival welcomes families and people all-ages, bringing the local community together to celebrate Johan's new single "Love is my Medicine" ahead of his Feb-March Australian tour. The festival is unlike any before in that it will have kava and kratom instead of alcohol, vegan instead of fried food, and a concert inside with a world of activities and options in Casa's outside garden. Live paintings by Rosario Psy & Misseleniious, kid activities by KID SURGE, drinks by Pause at 131 Swinton, vegan food and curry, and a vendor village I will be hanging and showcasing in that ranges from local Nomad Surf Shop to retro/vintage clothing, child book authors, craft jewelry, henna tattoo's and much more.
Live music includes local high-energy soul folk-rock band Johan Danno & Wildchildz, an opening set by ambient/beat-driven psychedelia folk and jazz with dub reggae artist Flint Blade, the conscious tribal trance duo Tu Hawks, and a closing all-star jam with guest performances by local musicians.
Free for kids under 14 with tickets $15 in advance or $20 on the day. $1 of all food and drinks sales go the Australian Bushfire relief along with a raffle on the day.
